Description

The Supplier Partnership Manager will be responsible for identifying supply chain improvement opportunities, delivery of systemic and sustainable improvements to achieve Schwan Cosmetics USA business objectives. The essential responsibilities in this position requires results-oriented leadership and collaboration across organizational boundaries, internally and externally. Expectations include the delivery of strategic improvements and ownership of the Supplier Scorecard process through problem solving, project management skills and demonstration to utilize supplier relationship management strategies to maintain effective supplier partnerships.

Supplier OTIF Improvement – Identify key opportunities and barriers to improve Supplier OTIF metric. Develop, align and implement key strategies and action plans to deliver systemic and sustainable improvements. Leverage SAP to enable on-going supplier OTIF results visibility.

Supplier Lead Time Reduction – Identify key opportunities and barriers to improve Supplier Lead Time metric. Develop, align and implement key strategies and action plans to deliver systemic and sustainable improvements.

Supplier Scorecard Process – Develop and own Schwan Key Supplier Scorecard. Develop and implement Key Supplier feedback process to enable on-going results visibility and collaboration on improvement opportunities.

Supplier Relationship Management – Establish and maintain effective supplier relationships, with primary focus on key suppliers. Work collaboratively across organizational boundaries to enable on-going supplier partnerships and collaboration to enable business needs. Drive accountability internally at Schwan Cosmetics and externally with suppliers to enable delivery of key result areas: Quality, Service and Cost.

Supplier Quality Liaison – Partner with Schwan QA Team to enable and support supplier engagement and collaboration on QA improvement opportunities.
Perform other duties/projects, as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree required in the field of Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field. Bachelor’s degree outside of these related fields will be considered with appropriate documented SCM experience. Advanced Degree is a plus. PMP Certification is a plus.

Experience: Minimum five (5) years of work experience in Supply Chain Management. SAP/ERP experience is a plus. Prior procurement/negotiation skills and Value Stream Mapping skills are a plus.
