Summary:
This position is responsible for administering payroll and benefit programs for a growing organization to include awareness of our wellness programs.  This position will lead educational and/or learning opportunities and be a key resource to support our Total Rewards Program. Bilingual in Spanish/English.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Administer all aspects weekly/bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees through ADP Workforce Now and Time and Attendance software in compliance with State and Federal laws. Verify accuracy of hourly work schedules, PTO balances, voluntary and involuntary deductions; manage payroll documentation, creation of ADP reports for audits and reconciliation. 
  • Administer the group health, prescription drug, dental, life and Short-Term Disability programs. Process required documents necessary for the implementation of benefit programs; maintains medical files obtaining required medical documentation, follow-up on return to work and providing monthly reporting. Audit the monthly list bill(s) from the carrier(s) and reconcile for all current plan participants.
  • Respond to employee payroll and benefit inquiries in a timely manner serving as liaison between benefits broker and/or vendors. Educate all employees and supervisors through formal training in ADP Time & Attendance, new hire benefits orientation, enrollment and coordinate personal finance and wellness programs. 
  • Create forms, documents and professional written documents. Research and analyze payroll/benefit processes and programs; make recommendations for improvements to simplify processes, create cost savings and decrease waste. 
  • Perform HR Office Administrator responsibilities and contribute to ongoing HR projects as needed. 
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor Degree preferred (Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or Business Administration).

Experience:
  • ADP Workforce Now/Time & Attendance highly preferred; MS Office experience;
  • 5+ years of work experience handling payroll and benefits for up to 250 employees;
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of FLSA, ACA, local, state and federal regulations; experience working with multiple interruptions; general knowledge of HR best practices; hands-on experience with the various inputs and outputs such as third party interfaces, timekeeping, tax filing/compliance, accounting, benefits, and other key areas that integrate with payroll.
