Title:Electrical Maintenance Mechanic II
The 3rd Shift Electrical Mechanic II is responsible for performing skilled work such as troubleshoot problems, installation, preventative maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic systems, wiring, fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment; and performs related work as required. Demonstrate safe work habits and adhere to Schwan Cosmetics, USA policies and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot fully automated machines and equipment to determine root cause for downtime or quality issues and make repairs to correct the issue and restore equipment to its original state. Complete general wiring, operate common shop equipment including milling machines, lathes, welding equipment, and drill presses to repair, fabricate, or adjust equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems and maintain complete equipment records and documentations related to tests, maintenance, modifications, and repairs. Program PLCs.
  • Responsible for following the test, maintenance, and installation procedures established. May assist in the development of procedures or the checkout of electrical systems where established procedures are inadequate and non-existent.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement teams and recommend improvements and modifications of the equipment to improve performance.
  • Comply with all established safety rules, company policies, and procedures. Assist in maintaining an adequate supply of electrical spare parts. Assist in maintaining clean, orderly and hazard-free work areas.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Vocational Certificate in electrical maintenance, industrial electricity or related field or equivalent experience. Must be able to read and interpret blue prints, intermediate/complicated electrical schematics and drawings and use precision measuring instruments (mics, calipers, scales, etc.). Must demonstrate intermediate shop math principles and formulas and perform advanced electrical calculations. Must be able to speak, read/comprehend, and write in English.
3-6 years’ work experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance or related field or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience.
Functional Competencies:
Intermediate math, basic PC knowledge and experience, electrical knowledge, machine operation, initiative, cooperation, listening, collaboration, communication, decision making, team work.
